Infused with our unique blend of plant derived ingredients like lemon peel, jasmine and hops, this rich gel provides long-lasting frizz-control and definition.

How to use

Step 1

Rub the product between your hands and apply on soaking wet hair.

Step 2

Use the “raking/praying hands method” to evenly spread the product throughout your strands.

Step 3

Select your desired styling method (scrunch/fingercurls/shingle) to enhance and define.

Step 4

Air dry or diffuse. Avoid touching your hair excessively while drying as this will create frizz. Once completely dry, scrunch to 'break the light cast' using an oil or serum to make your hair soft and bouncy.

"Strong hold gel is soo heavy for my thinner and shorter hair. Unfortunately I am limited to only fragrance free products because I am allergic to fragrance and curl smith only has one type of gel in their fragrance free line. Small bit can achieve soft hold

"I prefer a fluffy curl with no cast but wanted a small bit of frizz control when diffusing. I gambled on gel (especially strong hold) because it’s fragrance free but I’m pleasantly surprised! I dilute a tiny tiny pea size in wet hands and smooth over wet leave in. Diffused hair is so soft and flexible without being too shiny or stiff. It’ll last me forever too."

Q&A

Will you bring back the flexible hold gel from the previous line? It's the only product that has ever worked for me, and I'm devastated that it has been discontinued. I have been able to find other brands to replace the Shampoo and conditioner (I am allergic to the new formula) but nobody else makes a gel that works with my texture and my sensitive skin.
