Define Your Curls with Frizz Control Products

One of the main reasons why people with curly hair experience frizz is that they don’t use the right products in their routine. Styling creams, gels and serums are the best products for frizz, key to define curls, enhance your natural pattern.

We use nourishing, curl-friendly ingredients that lock curls in place and prevent frizz from happening. The stronger hold styler you use, the stronger frizz control you will have. The oils in our frizz control products work to prevent the absorption of water which is one of the common causes of frizz

Discover our NEW Anti-Frizz Recipes for the perfect routine to remove frizziness.

Beat Frizz Caused by Dry Hair

Curly hair is dry by nature, so it needs a lot more care than straight hair. The curlier the pattern, the drier it is, and the more moisturizing products you will need to use to keep it nourished. Make sure you always keep your hair nourished: condition every time you wash your hair, use a leave-in conditioner in between washes and deep conditioners once a week to prevent control frizz created by dryness.

Frizz Control for Moisture or Protein Overload

When your hair doesn’t have the right protein moisture balance, it can experience frizz. If you are using products with too much protein for your needs, you can go into protein overload: the frizz will be stiff, wiry, dry and crispy. Remove some protein-rich products from your routine to help with frizz control.

If on the other hand you are using products with too much moisture and not enough protein for your hair needs, you can go into moisture overload: the frizz will be soft, fluffy, like a little cloud all around the head. Make sure you add more protein-rich products to your routine to keep the hair balanced and help control frizz.

Control Humidity-Related Frizz

When the atmosphere outside is humid, your hair is attracted by the water content in the air and expands to try and absorb it. This makes it puff up and become frizzy. To avoid that, you should always seal your style with an occlusive product like curl oils or hairsprays for curly hair before going out.

These frizz control products will create a film around the hair shaft that traps moisture inside and helps to get rid of frizz. Keep your hair nourished, so it won’t need to absorb the moisture content in the hair and it will remain defined and keep frizz under control.
