Hair Makeup is a temporary damage-free hair color that coats the hair with vibrant pigment and washes off with one shampoo without leaving any residue. You don’t have to dye your hair to rock a new look - it works on all hair colors, even black hair!
Our Hair Makeup lasts until your next wash day. Simply shampoo your hair, and the makeup rinses out completely, no commitment required.
What makes Curlsmith temporary hair dye different?
Our temporary hair dye delivers vibrant colour while also defining, enhancing, and controlling frizz. That's because it's built on the base of our strong-hold styling gel, In-Shower Style Fixer, so you get colour and styling benefits in one, without causing damage to your strands.
How to apply temporary hair color for best results?
First, protect your clothing. Apply the temporary hair colour to wet, detangled hair after your leave-in conditioner. Smooth the colour through each section, making sure it's evenly distributed. Choose your desired styling method, then air-dry or diffuse. Once your curls are fully dry, scrunch the crunch to reveal soft, bouncy curls.
Does Hair Makeup show up on dark hair?
Yes, it shows up beautifully on dark hair. The pigment coats the strands and sits on top of the hair, just like makeup. Think of how bold eyeshadow shows up on any skin tone.
Does Hair Makeup contain actual dye?
No, Curlsmith Hair Makeup doesn't contain actual dye. Instead, it delivers a vibrant pop of colour that rinses out in one wash.
