Rub the product between your hands and apply on soaking wet hair.
Use the “raking/praying hands method” to evenly spread the product throughout your strands.
Select your desired styling method (scrunch/fingercurls/shingle) to enhance and define.
Air dry or diffuse. Avoid touching your hair excessively while drying as this will create frizz. Once completely dry, scrunch to 'break the light cast' using an oil or serum to make your hair soft and bouncy.

"I tried these products during a recent Marshalls purchase, and now I'm going to buy them again, this time online. I wasn't familiar with the line, so I decided to give it a try, and I really liked them. It had been a while since I'd found a product that worked for my hair. My hair is past my shoulders, super dry, and a combination of curly and coily due to genetics. Before applying the In-Shower, I first use the Curl Conditioning Oil-In-Cream, and the combination works spectacularly for me. It leaves my hair moisturized, with hold but bouncy, not sticky. And although I'm not a fan of gels, the product combined with the curl conditioner oil-in-cream works really well for me. It significantly reduces frizz, and I know what frizz is like because I live on a tropical island where the humidity is almost always between 80 and 100%. My curls last quite a while without needing to be refreshed as frequently as with other products. To make my curls last longer, I use satin or silk pillowcases."

"I use this product once a week alongside the weightless air dry cream for several weeks. I finally gave up and started using a drug store brand and the texture and affect was unbelievable. Three products that approximately costs five to ten dollars individually offered incredible, hold that improved my hairs texture in overall look immensely. However, the curlsmith line offered poor hold to my mixed colored hair. Product works on definition but offers temporary and uneven hold. Doesn't work if you have any hair that could even marginally be considered 'coily' and the majority of the character sticks of my hair texture are curly. Do not use this product if you have any amount of ethnic background that isn't european. My hair is malleable in the product still worked poorly for me.
