How to use
Option 1 - Pixie Diffusing
Great for wavy hair.
Makes curl pattern tighter and bouncier.
Cup your hair into the diffuser bowl and hold for a couple of seconds close to your scalp. Continue in sections until the whole head is dry.
Option 2 - Hover Diffusing
Great for curly hair.
Sets curls in place and minimizes frizz.
Hover the diffuser around your head, without touching the curls. Start close to the roots and then proceed towards the lengths until all is dry.

"Absolutely love this diffuser but after using it a year, it falls off the dryer. I've reached out to customer service and they want me to video the process rather than try and help with a replacement. It's a little hard to video and diffuse while it's falling off constantly. Super disappointing because I truly love the size and result of this diffuser. I rarely spend so much on a product."

"I really like this dryer. The size of the diffuser speeds up the drying process and makes working with long hair less complicated. Even without styling products, using the dryer itself makes my hair look so much better. The heat and intensity options are great, as is the cool air shot. I've been dealing with a spine injury lately, which unfortunately, has made these dryer difficult to use with its larger size and heavier weight. The built-in stand might work for some who can sit easily, but I'd love to see Curlsmith release a hands-free, height adjustable stand for this hair dryer. I've been looking for one of the clamp stands with a weighted base to fit this hair dryer without toppling over, and there don't seem to be any great options. I'd be the first to buy something like this if it were available from Curlsmith. I think it could be really helpful for curly-haired people of all abilities and situations. Fingers crossed!"

Broken after 2 years of light use
"Stopped working after 2 years. I spent time choosing which diffuser to buy and for me this was a big purchase. I decided to go with the Defrizzion and after two years, it blows only cold air. I am so disappointed - made worse that Curlsmith will not change it and will not answer my request to speak to a manager. For me this is a faulty dryer. . . there is no way that for this price, it would break after 2 short years. I do not travel with it, use it once a week at most - I am now reusing my 15 year old basic dryer. I do not recommend it at all."

"I love this more than my Dyson. This does a better job drying my curls and leaves them looking healthy and cuts down on the frizz. I don't know why or how but this performs better on my curls than my Dyson ever has. I love this blow dryer. Save your money and buy this over a Dyson. You will not regret it. Trust me, it performs better on my curly hair than my Dyson."

I just purchased this diffuser. The attachments do not have a twist and lock mechanism. The only way to get them on and off is to push and pull them. Is something broken? There were no instructions regarding the attachments in the box.

How does the diffuser attach to the hair dryer? My current diffuser/dryer ser up (different brand) keeps popping off rendering it unusable.

How do I clean the filter ?
Hi Angela! When cleaning is needed, unplug the cord and allow the dryer to cool. Use a small brush or vacuum to remove debris. Remove the diffuser or concentrator and clean all accessible parts with a damp cloth :)
Is this dryer dual voltage? Can I use it in the United Arab Emirates?

Can I use the diffuser on high speed medium heat?
You can use the dryer on any speed you wish for the diffuser, we do recommend using the diffuser on a low heat setting however :)
