Moisture Memory Release

Product Description

Silky Soft. Beautifully Bouncy. Perfectly Hydrated. Curly hair is naturally more susceptible to moisture loss due to its unique structure; the bends and twists can cause the cuticle to lift, making it harder to retain hydration. Those with fine, curly hair often seek not only intense moisture but also lightweight formulas that preserve their hair’s natural bounce. This ultra-lightweight leave-in spray features time-release moisture technology for all-day hydration, leaving curls soft, smooth, and full of life. Powered by the TriCeraBlend™ complex, a unique blend of three ceramides, it instantly detangles and infuses curls with moisture that lasts up tp 3 days*. Designed for very fine to fine hair textures, it combats hair fatigue, helps tame frizz, and promotes visibly healthy-looking curls.*Based on third party testing vs control

Reviews

I really love this spray,

"I really love this spray, it smaells good, you can refresh with it and it makes your hair feel so soft to the touch and it doesn't interfere with getting volume in the hair and that's with even applying a little bit to the roots as well"

Smells Aweful!

"I’m not sure why but when I spray this on my hair it smells really bad! I’m not sure if it works the best, since I have tried it twice and can’t get past how aweful the smell is. It almost smells like I got a bad batch or something. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to smell this way but if so I’m not ordering this again!"

Worth every penny

"This product has consistently been my go-to to add beautiful volume and curl for my thin strands when a combination of hard water and the weather makes my hair super dry and flat. And it lasts all day. Never disappoints!"

Q&A

Did this product replace the Moisture Memory Reactivator and does it provide heat and UV protection like that one did?
Hi Rose, Thank you for reaching out! I understand your concern. Yes, this product was rebranded from the Moisture Memory Reactivator. It still provides the same great benefits, including heat protection and UV protection. Please let us know if you have any other questions—we’re happy to help! Thanks, Curlsmith
Is the Moisture Memory Reactivator the same as the Moisture Memory Release?
Hi Kathy, Thanks so much for reaching out! The Moisture Memory Reactivator is actually the updated name for the Moisture Memory Release — it’s the same product you know and love, just with a refreshed name and packaging. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we’re always happy to help! Thanks, Curlsmith
Dose this have heat protection?
Hi D, Thank you so much for reaching out! We completely understand wanting to make sure your hair is protected when using heat. The Moisture Memory Release is designed to help rehydrate and refresh your curls, but it doesn’t provide heat protection. If you’re planning to use heat styling tools, we'd recommend pairing it with a dedicated heat protectant for the best results. Please let us know if you’d like help finding the right one for your routine—I’m happy to assist! Thanks, Curlsmith
Kinda confused and slightly disappointed. I bought the Moisture Memory Reactivator regularly as a refresher spray. I loved it and brought my curls back to life each day in a way that no other product has. Can this new product be used the same way? I'm seeing it's more of a leave in that should only be used on wet or damp hair, but I was able to use the Reactivator on dry hair every day.
Hi Natasha, Thank you so much for sharing your experience—we’re really glad to hear how much you loved the Moisture Memory Reactivator as a refresher for your curls. We completely understand the confusion around the Moisture Memory Release. While it’s primarily designed to be used on wet or damp hair as a leave-in, many customers still find it helpful to lightly mist or apply a small amount on dry hair to revive curls. That said, the results may vary compared to the Reactivator. If you’d like, we’d be happy to suggest other products that work well for refreshing curls between wash days. Thanks, Curlsmith
Should I use a styler before or after this?
Hi Kb, Thank you for reaching out! You can apply Moisture Memory Release before styling your hair. It works best as a prep product to help hydrate and protect your curls, then follow with your favorite styler for hold and definition. Hope this helps your curls stay happy and healthy! Thanks, Curlsmith
is this product too heavy for fine curls?
Hi Janine, Great question — we know how important it is to find the right balance for fine curls. 💛 Moisture Memory Release is designed to be lightweight and hydrating, so it shouldn’t feel too heavy when used as directed. We recommend starting with a small amount and adjusting based on how your curls respond. Please let us know if you’d like tips on how to best use it for your hair type — we’re happy to help! Thanks, Curlsmith
Does this product contain protein?
Hi Tammy, Thanks for reaching out! The Curlsmith Moisture Memory Reactivator does not contain any protein. It’s a lightweight leave-in designed to help refresh curls, add moisture, and soften the hair between wash days. Let us know if you have additional questions. Thanks, Curlsmith
