"I absolutely love the travel sized Curlsmith Defrizzion Dryer! This is my first diffuser ever and I’ve found it’s so luxurious. I’m someone with low porosity, short curly hair that struggles with frizz and flat bed-head. On mornings when I’m in a rush, I’m able to dry my hair fast enough after wash or refresh day. I find that this diffusers great at getting rid of my frizz and keeping my style fresh for longer. I recommend for anyone with these same issues!"

"The best investment ever! My old hair dryer was turning my hair gray and I truly thought it was my hair products causing my color change. The old hair dryer took 30-40 mins to dry on medium speed medium heat. But now on high speed high heat 15 mins 😲. If on high speed medium heat about 25 mins. If I refresh my hair with very little water and Curl-smith leave in conditioner about 5-10 mins."

"I was really excited to try the Curlsmith Defrizzion Dryer – Travel Edition, but my experience hasn’t been great. My package arrived completely covered in snow, and I didn’t receive any communication from the shipper. When I opened it, everything was wet. The dryer wouldn’t start at first, and when it finally did, it kept shutting off while I was using it, which completely ruined my wash day. I reached out to support, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to reproduce the issue since—so now I’m left unsure about the quality and how long it will last. Considering the price I paid, I’m disappointed and will probably look for another option."
"I got this in advance of a trip some months back, encouraged by the positive reviews. Unfortunately, this is a disappointing product, particularly at this price point. I probably should have retuned it, but held on to hope… for too long. Regarding the “travel” designation: This is a LARGE, heavy dryer with a GIANT diffuser. The only “travel” accommodation is that the dryer folds in half. This does nothing to reduce the volume of space occupied by this tool and the diffuser attachment. It is too big for travel unless you are checking a bag simply so you can bring your hair dryer. For my trip I had to pivot and use a small folding travel dryer with a universal diffuser. Next, there are features lacking for a dryer at this price point. For one, the dust filter on the back is permanently attached. This is listed as a “feature” but basically indicates that if this dryer is used for more than occasional travel, it will be choked with dust and there is no efficient way to clean it. Yes, the end can be periodically vacuumed or brushed off but still - I would have expected something more for the price. Also in “lacking”, the cord does not swivel, meaning that with continued use, it twists and twists, compromising the wiring within. Again, at this price point I would have expected a swivel cord. On to the weight - this is a heavy dryer. If your hair takes a while to dry, be warned - it will take its toll on your extremities. Last complaint - I have noticed zero benefit from the use of this dryer. My hair does not dry quickly or smoothly. I can barely feel the air coming out. The diffuser “fingers” are weirdly shaped and encourage my hair to ball up into little ratty puffs. After trying multiple ways to utilize this dryer over the past few months, I have resigned myself to my poor choice in tools and my bad decision not to request a return immediately after receiving it. It now lives in my giveaway pile. My daily driver is the smaller travel dryer I mentioned above, with the universal diffuser attachment. The results are not amazing, but for now it is the better option for me. For context, my hair has recently become 2b-2c (hormonal changes), is very dry, coarse, mostly gray and low porosity. It is challenging to find anything that works."
