How to use
Step 1
Rub the product between your hands and apply on soaking wet hair.
Step 2
Use the “raking/praying hands method” to evenly spread the product throughout your strands.
Step 3
Select your desired styling method (scrunch/fingercurls/shingle) to enhance and define.
Step 4
Air dry or diffuse. Avoid touching your hair excessively while drying as this will create frizz. Once completely dry, scrunch to 'break the light cast' using an oil or serum to make your hair soft and bouncy.

"I love this product as a one and done! Other than a leave in I out this in and get great hold, curl and longevity! I got 5 great hair down days and day 6 was ‘I need to wear it up but still looked good)! I was afraid to use this at first because it’s so thick and thought it was too heavy but it’s not! Try it!!!"
I use this product once
"I use this product once a week alongside the weightless air dry cream for several weeks. I finally gave up and started using a drug store brand and the texture and affect was unbelievable. Three products that approximately costs five to ten dollars individually offered incredible, hold that improved my hairs texture in overall look immensely. However, the curlsmith line offered poor hold to my mixed colored hair. Product works on definition but offers temporary and uneven hold. Doesn't work if you have any hair that could even marginally be considered 'coily' and the majority of the character sticks of my hair texture are curly. Do not use this product if you have any amount of ethnic background that isn't european. My hair is malleable in the product still worked poorly for me. "I have 3b low porosity/low density curls that have been my arch nemesis for years. I'm never satisfied with how they look super defined and producty OR with lighter creams that don't define and look greasy. It's been a battle. The In-Shower Style Fixer is AMAZING for my hair!!! I apply this (and only this - no leave-in) to damp hair - NOT soaking wet and apply barely a pea-size amount to each of four sections. I air dry and actually get a cast!! The ever-elusive cast! Once dry and scrunched, my curls are defined, soft and don't feel gunky with product! I feel like I've finally found my Holy Grail and finally feel confident with my curls. Thank you, Curlsmith!"

- Does the product (In-shower style fixer) contain Methylisothiazolinone? Some online sites state it does but your official website doesn't have it ....has it been reformulated? - It was awesome on my hair but caused me rashes and itching on my skin.

- Hi! I have the weightless air dry cream and the in shower style fixer. I was wondering what order I should apply these products? Do I apply the style fixer in the shower first then then air dry cream out of the shower or the other way around?

- Hi! Ensure you are applying to soaking wet curls and applying to sectioned hair - Once they are completely dry you just need to gently "scrunch" your hair upwards to break the cast and reveal soft, defined curls! You can even use a couple of drops of oil to scrunch out the cast and leave the hair even more soft and shiny.
- I see this has glycerin in it. I thought glycerin was a no no for high humidity but this says it provides humidity protection
