"I have bought this Fragrance Free Leave IN a few times over the last couple years. It had no smell. As a leave in , it was very light but I liked that it didn't have fragrance or Proteins or silicones. I recently purchased 2 tubes . I didn't end up opening up one of the new ones for almost a month since I was still using up old tube. When I did open tube to use I immediately noticed a strange smell . . . for me it was like day old Campfire "ash". Ick. I tried it for a week and since the smell really bothered me I finally contacted CurlSmith and asked about whether there was a change to product or if this was an "oops" in the quality control for this batch. I was told that I was past the 30 days to return and they couldn't do anything for me. Ouch. Didn't even any my question as to whether this was the "new smell" for product. I ended up throwing out BOTH tubes I ordered and they lost me as a customer. Lesson learned . . . don't order products until you need them in about 2 weeks, and then, open up products right away and test them! This was bad customer service - especially for a customer you had for 2 years."
